Overview
A battery energy storage integration package for a defined power and duration duty. It supports renewable balancing, peak management or qualified grid services. Storage shifts energy and consumes some of it through losses; it is not an independent renewable generation source.
Product capabilities
- Qualified battery racks or enclosures
- BMS
- power conversion system
- transformer
- switchgear
- EMS
Feedstock and input
Electricity from contracted sources and a defined site or grid service requirement.
Core components
- Qualified battery racks or enclosures
- BMS
- power conversion system
- transformer
- switchgear
- EMS
- cooling
- detection and fire strategy
- monitoring
- emergency disconnects
- fencing and communication systems
Process
Charge within limits; monitor battery state; discharge for a defined duty; protect and manage end of life.
Design basis
Select MW, usable MWh, degradation assumptions, cycling, temperature envelope, augmentation and emergency response plan.
IoT measurements
BMS state, cell temperatures, power and energy, degradation and OEM safety events.
IoT architecture
Local PLC/HMI, buffered historian and secure gateway; remote alarms and reports. Cloud loss does not stop local control. See common architecture and acceptance tests.
Future capability
Forecast dispatch and identify degradation trends within certified hardware limits.
Typical applications
U.S. utilities, commercial campuses and renewable projects; global markets with storage value and service access.
Pilot validation
Verify usable capacity, efficiency, protection, fire test evidence, communications and duty cycle performance.
Problem and deployment scope
Renewable power and storage
How it works

Architecture
Confirm data sources, field interfaces and operating requirements during discovery. Integration compatibility is reviewed for each deployment.
Integrations
Interface availability and supported protocols require product-specific confirmation.
Deployment
Scope, installation, security, acceptance criteria and training are agreed with the project team.
Use cases
U.S. utilities, commercial campuses and renewable projects; global markets with storage value and service access.
