Overview
A solar PV engineering and integration package for ground mounted industrial or utility duties, with rooftop variants separately assessed. It combines qualified modules and inverters with structural, electrical and monitoring design. Net generation depends on site resource, losses, weather and grid conditions.
Product capabilities
- Qualified PV modules
- mounting or trackers
- foundations
- DC cabling and combiner equipment where used
- inverters
- AC collection
Feedstock and input
Sunlight, land or roof rights and a compatible grid or site load.
Core components
- Qualified PV modules
- mounting or trackers
- foundations
- DC cabling and combiner equipment where used
- inverters
- AC collection
- transformer
- switchgear
- protection
- earthing
- metering
- weather station
- monitoring and optional storage interface
Process
Capture solar energy; convert DC to AC; protect and meter; serve loads or approved grid export.
Design basis
Model irradiance, shading, soiling, wind loads, drainage, module degradation and curtailment.
IoT measurements
Irradiance, module temperature, string and inverter output, weather and grid meter; investigate yield deviations.
IoT architecture
Local PLC/HMI, buffered historian and secure gateway; remote alarms and reports. Cloud loss does not stop local control. See common architecture and acceptance tests.
Future capability
Compare expected and observed yield and flag inverter or string performance issues.
Typical applications
U.S. commercial and utility owners; global industrial sites with suitable land, irradiation and interconnection.
Pilot validation
Inspect electrical and structural installation, verify commissioning and protection tests and agree a weather adjusted generation baseline.
Problem and deployment scope
Renewable power and storage
How it works
- Qualified PV modules
- mounting or trackers
- foundations
- DC cabling and combiner equipment where used
- inverters
- AC collection
Architecture
Confirm data sources, field interfaces and operating requirements during discovery. Integration compatibility is reviewed for each deployment.
Integrations
Interface availability and supported protocols require product-specific confirmation.
Deployment
Scope, installation, security, acceptance criteria and training are agreed with the project team.
Use cases
U.S. commercial and utility owners; global industrial sites with suitable land, irradiation and interconnection.
