Overview
A landfill gas recovery package joining collection wells, condensate management, gas treatment and a selected energy outlet. It supports controlled recovery from a permitted landfill while keeping leachate, cover integrity and gas migration management within the site operating plan. Collection design follows the landfill geometry and evolving gas quality.
Product capabilities
- Vertical wells or horizontal collectors
- wellheads
- collection headers
- condensate sumps and pumps
- extraction blower
- flow and vacuum instruments
Feedstock and input
Collected landfill gas; characterize oxygen and nitrogen ingress, siloxanes, H2S and changing methane concentration.
Core components
- Vertical wells or horizontal collectors
- wellheads
- collection headers
- condensate sumps and pumps
- extraction blower
- flow and vacuum instruments
- gas analyzer
- flare
- gas conditioning
- optional RNGPure or BioCHP connection
- landfill inspection and monitoring interfaces
Process
Extract under controlled conditions; remove condensate; analyze and condition gas; route to an approved energy system or flare.
Design basis
Perform gas field assessment, cover and migration review, recovery forecasts and long term decline analysis.
IoT measurements
Wellhead vacuum and gas quality, header flow and condensate; map inspections and methane events.
IoT architecture
Local PLC/HMI, buffered historian and secure gateway; remote alarms and reports. Cloud loss does not stop local control. See common architecture and acceptance tests.
Future capability
Correlate well readings and weather to flag air ingress, abnormal events and overdue inspections.
Typical applications
U.S. municipal and private landfill owners; global landfills with proven recoverable gas and access.
Pilot validation
Demonstrate collection balance, leak investigation, condensate drainage, gas outlet quality and reliable flare availability.
Problem and deployment scope
Biogas and biological energy
How it works

- extraction blower
- flow and vacuum instruments
Architecture
Confirm data sources, field interfaces and operating requirements during discovery. Integration compatibility is reviewed for each deployment.
Integrations
Interface availability and supported protocols require product-specific confirmation.
Deployment
Scope, installation, security, acceptance criteria and training are agreed with the project team.
Use cases
U.S. municipal and private landfill owners; global landfills with proven recoverable gas and access.
