Overview
A waste heat integration package delivering useful heat directly or, when thermally and economically justified, electricity through an organic Rankine cycle. The first option is to reuse heat at a suitable temperature. Recovery does not create extra energy and must account for pumping, cooling and source disruption.
Product capabilities
- Source heat exchanger
- fouling protection
- bypass
- intermediate loop
- insulated piping
- pumps
Feedstock and input
Stable industrial waste heat from exhaust, hot water or compatible process streams.
Core components
- Source heat exchanger
- fouling protection
- bypass
- intermediate loop
- insulated piping
- pumps
- heat metering
- optional ORC evaporator, expander generator, condenser and working fluid system
- cooling equipment and controls
Process
Measure source; recover useful heat; match a sink or convert through a selected cycle; reject remaining heat safely.
Design basis
Characterize temperature, flow, hours, corrosive species, heat sink, seasonal cooling and net auxiliary consumption.
IoT measurements
Heat-source and sink flow and temperatures, exchanger pressure drop and delivered useful heat.
IoT architecture
Local PLC/HMI, buffered historian and secure gateway; remote alarms and reports. Cloud loss does not stop local control. See common architecture and acceptance tests.
Future capability
Identify deterioration in heat transfer and compare recovered output against source conditions.
Typical applications
U.S. cement, steel, process and energy sites; global industrial plants with suitable heat and local demand.
Pilot validation
Demonstrate useful heat or net electricity, source process compatibility, fluid containment and stable cooling.
Problem and deployment scope

Architecture
Confirm data sources, field interfaces and operating requirements during discovery. Integration compatibility is reviewed for each deployment.
Integrations
Interface availability and supported protocols require product-specific confirmation.
Deployment
Scope, installation, security, acceptance criteria and training are agreed with the project team.
Use cases
U.S. cement, steel, process and energy sites; global industrial plants with suitable heat and local demand.
