Overview
A water electrolysis package for hydrogen production using a qualified PEM or other selected electrolyzer. It joins water treatment, electrical conversion, gas purification and a defined delivery interface. Renewable power sourcing and lifecycle evidence determine whether a green or low carbon claim is justified.
Product capabilities
- Pretreatment and deionized water system
- power transformer and rectifier
- electrolyzer stacks
- cooling loop
- hydrogen and oxygen separators
- hydrogen dryer
Feedstock and input
Water meeting OEM quality and contracted electricity; reclaimed water needs validated additional treatment.
Core components
- Pretreatment and deionized water system
- power transformer and rectifier
- electrolyzer stacks
- cooling loop
- hydrogen and oxygen separators
- hydrogen dryer
- quality analyzer
- compressor if required
- storage interface
- vent system
- detectors
- shutdown controls
Process
Treat water; convert electricity to hydrogen and oxygen; dry and test gas; deliver to an approved storage or user system.
Design basis
Confirm electrical profile, specific power consumption, net water withdrawal, gas pressure, purity and oxygen disposition.
IoT measurements
Power origin and use, water conductivity, hydrogen flow and purity, stack conditions and leak alarms.
IoT architecture
Local PLC/HMI, buffered historian and secure gateway; remote alarms and reports. Cloud loss does not stop local control. See common architecture and acceptance tests.
Future capability
Forecast power availability and flag performance degradation; OEM safety controls remain independent.
Typical applications
U.S. industrial hydrogen users, mobility suppliers and fuel developers; global sites with suitable water and power.
Pilot validation
Measure hydrogen quality and output, energy and water use, leak tightness, vent performance and shutdown response.
