Overview
A residual waste incineration and energy recovery package for permitted municipal or industrial duties. A selected furnace and boiler supply steam or electricity while a complete flue gas treatment and monitoring train controls emissions. Incineration is a separate process from pyrolysis and gasification, and does not eliminate ash disposal requirements.
Product capabilities
- Enclosed reception and bunker
- crane or conveyor
- optional RDF preparation
- furnace and grate or selected bed
- combustion air fans
- boiler
Feedstock and input
Permitted nonrecyclable residual waste or specified refuse derived fuel. Hazardous and medical wastes need separately classified systems.
Core components
- Enclosed reception and bunker
- crane or conveyor
- optional RDF preparation
- furnace and grate or selected bed
- combustion air fans
- boiler
- optional steam turbine
- condenser
- acid gas control
- activated carbon dosing where required
- baghouse
- NOx control
- induced draft fan
- stack monitoring
- separate ash handling
Process
Receive and inspect residuals; combust under controlled conditions; recover steam; treat flue gas; test and manage residues.
Design basis
Develop seasonal waste composition and lower heating value, combustion balance, corrosion allowance, emission limits and ash outlets.
IoT measurements
Waste intake, combustion temperature, steam, power, emissions and residue records with permit-specific reporting.
IoT architecture
Local PLC/HMI, buffered historian and secure gateway; remote alarms and reports. Cloud loss does not stop local control. See common architecture and acceptance tests.
Future capability
Flag efficiency and emissions deviations; qualified operators retain combustion and permit decisions.
Typical applications
U.S. waste authorities and industrial owners; dense global markets with sound residual waste and heat or power economics.
Pilot validation
Demonstrate permit performance, monitoring validity, ash testing, net energy and reliable boiler operation. Include auxiliary fuel.

Architecture
Confirm data sources, field interfaces and operating requirements during discovery. Integration compatibility is reviewed for each deployment.
Integrations
Interface availability and supported protocols require product-specific confirmation.
Deployment
Scope, installation, security, acceptance criteria and training are agreed with the project team.
Use cases
U.S. waste authorities and industrial owners; dense global markets with sound residual waste and heat or power economics.
